New Hardcat Stock Module Transforms Royal Melbourne Hospital’s Management of Critical Medical Equipment

Cost efficiency, productivity benefits and improved medical outcomes abound for Victoria’s oldest hospital after implementing a new Stock Management module to its existing Hardcat asset management solution.

MELBOURNE, 23 August, 2016 – With the help of a new Stock Management module from Hardcat, Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) has completed a complete transformation in the way it procures, manages and stores spare parts used in the maintenance and repair of critical medical equipment used in clinical operations.

Extended functionality According to Lakshmi Thiru, a Biomedical engineer in RMH’s Clinical Engineering Department (CED), the new Stock Management module from Hardcat has helped to extend the benefits provided by the Australian asset management software company’s existing solution rolled out in 2015.
